Boston Railway Departures in 1970 Reproduction Poster available only £14.99

This A3 reproduction poster highlights just how well connected Boston was before the railway network in Lincolnshire suffered devastating line and station closures and cuts to services in 1970. It was possible to travel to Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea, Louth and Alford - all of these have now lost their stations - and with direct links to Grimsby, London, Cambridge, etc, places were within easier and quicker reach of Boston than now, or put another way, Boston was within easier reach for people in other places wanting to visit our town!

The poster includes timings for each calling point of all the departures listed, and there is even some additional information written on to the original - reproduced in these replica posters - all useful for the historian. The added benefit of the replica posters are that they are only A3 size (approx. 12 inches by 16 inches).

The replica posters are on sale at The Boston Old Times at £14.99 each or can be ordered by post for £16.99 including post and packing. Email thebostonoldtimes@googlemail.com
